Burnage: a place called home is our eighteen month exploration of the history of the Manchester Corporation housing estates built in Burnage in the 1920s and 1930s. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, we will run a range of activities and events across Burnage and beyond, recruiting a team of volunteers to record oral histories and explore archival records.
