We’re proud to host the “Legacy of Ahmed” exhibit commemorating the life and legacy of Ahmed Iqbal Ullah a 13 year old pupil of Burnage High School (now Burnage Academy for Boys), who was murdered 30 years ago after defending young Bangladeshi pupils from racist bullying.
The exhibition charts the event and its aftermath, and the ways in which Ahmed’s family have ensured his memory is sustained and to share the positive efforts made in his name, in Manchester and in Bangladesh. The exhibits will be on display from 31st March until 25th April.
